Disposable Water Bottles
|
Disposable Water Bottles are the bottles that are made by one type of plastic called polyethylene phenolphthalein, which is abbreviated as either PETE or PET. In the recent years, a rumor that these disposable water bottles are creating more pollution and are leading to the cause of cancer is being circulated around the world in a rapid manner. However, truly, this rumour has no strength. Actually many think that it is difficult to recycle these Water Bottles. Generally, there are various techniques involved in recycling these disposable water bottles. There will be recycling codes that are printed at the bottom of the disposable water bottles and these are the codes that can also be used to identify different types of plastic that are used to create the disposable water bottles. These Recycling code also specifies how efficient it is recycle the disposable water bottles. Based on these codes itself, one can identify whether the plastic used to produce the water bottles that they are holding is efficient or not for the process of recycling. Generally, the plastic that are formed from PETE has recycling mark “1” at the bottom of the bottle. There is another belief that a substance called dioxins is emerged from the plastics used in creating the water bottles. The belief that cancer will be caused because of the water bottles emerged from the fact that the substance Dioxins generally causes cancer. Since these dioxins can be produced either naturally or during some manufacturing process, people believe that these dioxins are released into the atmosphere while producing the water bottles and are becoming a cause for the cancer to spread. But the fact is that there is no proof that this plastic creates the Dioxide. Many of the plastics contains a material called plasticizers, which causes the plastic to be more flexible and making it less brittle. The type of plasticizers includes a substance called diethylhexyladipate is more common in today's plastic. Most of the people believe that this DEHA is being released from plastic misunderstanding this DEHA as diethyl hydroxylamine instead of the one stated above. However, for there is also no proof to prove that even this substance causes the cancer. However, everyone should remember the fact that the water bottles they are not recycled properly, cleaned properly and dried properly causes more diseases. The rate of this disease causes increases in the case if the disposable water bottles after using them are thrown away simply like that into the warm places, which help the harmful germs to grow around them. These germs generally make people being infected with in gestation, which leads to vomiting and diarrhea. The main thing to remember is that this is the fact with even other containers as well but not only with the water bottles but certainly there is no proof that the water bottles cause the cancer. Taking proper steps in using the disposable water bottles not only at the stage of usage but also at the stage of throwing them, make sure they are properly channelled to the recycling plants to ensure the reduction of atmosphere pollution as well as ensuring the health safety of the public. |
