If you are a soon to be parent and you need to buy stuffs or must-have things for your upcoming baby, what comes first to your list? Maybe it was the clothes, pins, diapers and such but for sure you will not forget the “feeding bottle” right?
Advent baby bottles were first used as early as 1500 B.C. and as time pass by where variety of materials where used in making feeding bottles. There was made from stone, wood, metal, and pottery. Nowadays these advent baby bottles are now comes in a different designs for different ages and uses. Sippy cup for toddlers (ages 2 to 4) which has a different design from the usual baby bottles wherein it has a custom-built handle on each side of the bottle for child's easy grip. Baby bottles are made of glass but the most common was made on a high-boiling temperature resistant plastic resin also known as Polycarbonate plastics. Bisphenol-A (BPA), a chemical which can be found in polycarbonate plastic are said to be hormone-disruptive which can cause breast and prostate cancer and which infants are the most vulnerable, as study says. Because plastic feeding bottles are often reused they are more likely prone to a high content of BPA chemical leaching.
Sterilizing baby bottles as often as you could is a must most especially on the first time of use. Use an especially made brush for baby bottles and nipples to remove hardened milk from top to bottom and from all of its crevices. Boil it to an enclose pan for about 15 minutes. Don't microwave baby bottles, study say that it would be more likely prone to BPA leaching.
Breastfeeding nowadays is a rare scene to those moms who has less time due to work and busy schedules (career woman) and for some it has become an issue especially performing breastfeeding in a public area. That's when advent baby bottles come in handy for dads who want to take part of baby nursing. Some experts say feeding your child through baby bottles will not help established a good mother or father and child relationship; still some parents prefer to use bottle feeding. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) are not recommending bottle feeding for parents because of some illnesses that I child might acquire in prolonged bottle feeding at its young age. Either way, advent baby bottles are just “tool” to make baby nursing an easy task for everyone, especially for parents. |
